Lecture 2 Tejeros

The Tejeros Convention was called in 1897 to discuss the defense of Cavite province and establish a revolutionary government as Spanish forces were regaining control, but it resulted in a split between Bonifacio's Magdiwang faction and Aguinaldo's Magdalo faction over who would lead, with Aguinaldo defeating Bonifacio in elections that Bonifacio and others claimed were fraudulent.
