Tejeros Convention/Assembly
• During the initial days of the revolution,
Katipunan forces in Manila under Bonifacio saw a number of defeats. This led them to retreat (Montalban mountains)
• In contrast, Katipunan forces in Cavite
under Aguinaldo managed to control province Magdalo and Magdiwang
