The colour scheme I have used for my magazine are black, grey and purple because they are the

because the magazine will not look professional so I just stick with mainly two colours which is
black and grey. Through out my magazine I have used the same font for my content title and for my
double page spread this is because it matches the lifestyle of the main artist. In my front cover I
have used normal font for the title because so it doesn’t look to funky. I have used different style of
angle shots through out my magazine which this makes my magazine more creative and can
demand the audience to buy to check out new styles.
 Social Group
My magazine target audience are teenagers and young adults by
various convention and other magazine I have researched upon this
is because my artist which is dressed up as a smart looking person
which young adults and teenagers would be attracted by him. The
dressing he has done shows his part of his lifestyle e.g. Looking smart.
Due to my research I was able to pick right clothing for my photo
shoot, which allowed me to make my magazine more specific for my
target audience. He has dressed up smart to show the young audience
and adults that he is capable of them. Its also showing that he is up to
date with fashion and generation. The language, clothes and pose are
related to certain subcultures. The quotes and image which all
together are related my images to RnB social group. The language I
have used which matches the average teenager it is essential and
critical part of any magazine. The font are one of the bases of the
magazine which will the magazine will be able to reach at higher
market when it has its genre and its specific audience. I have chosen
the font which relates to my magazine genre R&B. I did this because it
will create my magazine very efficient. Overall I believe that my
magazine uses all the codes and conventions I have discussed and
analysed.

your media product and why?
The media institution I might use to distribute my media product is Through out my secondary research Future PLC is known

 Who would be the audience
for your media product
Firstly I needed to find out that who will be interested in my
magazine , and needed to research what type of target
audience will I need for my magazine. To find this out I
created a questionnaire to weather see if the target audience
range would be appealed by the magazine. After receiving my
result most of the audience preferred RnB music . I then used
my artist image to further attraction for my target audience.
In this picture the use of facial expression, accessories,
lighting is to portray the emotions and moods of the artist.
This is important because most of the RnB artist look happy,
moody, straight forward or look in pain.

Overall through out my audience research, I interviewed

some of the audience about what they think about the R&B

The social grade they are in is B because they re middle class
people. My magazine’s audience fits into the psychographic
profile of emulator-achievers.
How did you attract/address
your audience
The language that I use on the front cover is
aspirational. ‘Future Of RnB’ this shows the
audience to look ahead and think about the future.
Which this also inspire the audience to buy the
magazine. To attract my target audience even more
I have added a plug in my front cover which says
‘Win 2 tickets to Hollywood’ which this is also part
of inspiring the audience to buy the magazine. The
title ‘Sli X’ is small and catchy for my target
audience. Sli X known as looking smart or looking
sexy. I have added similar quotes which match my
magazine title ‘Smart Is The New Sexy’. The top bar
is another way of forcing my target audience to
buy the magazine this is because it talks about
different topic and different artist, which this will
make my target audience think that there's more
then one chapter to read.

To attract my target audience for my magazine I have added

 Look back at your preliminary task (the college magazine), what do you feel you
have learnt in the progression from it to full product?

Looking back at my preliminary task the

college magazine which I have made and
refined my knowledge and skills in creating a
magazine. This has helped me to create a
better magazine layout, better font applied to
match the genre. In my preliminary task I
didn’t know much about Photoshop and didn’t
know many skills, but know which now am use
to it using it and I feel very confident using it.
This has helped me to create a final piece of
magazine. It is important to target your
audience and the music tribe to create a sense
of aspiration because this make the people to
buy the magazine.
