    1.0 The issues that the logistic firm dealing with

    i. Business process improvement


    • That company cannot keep pace with the rapidly growing demand for berth and storage
    space.
    • The effective and efficient process of operation at port.
    • Departure on time and sailing on certain time to arrive the another port.
    • Demand for shipping services and also increase in requirement of freighter carrying
    capacity.
    • Transport distance by a distant ocean requires a longer or sufficient time to transport the
    cargo.
    • That company need to improve the effective and efficient of their business process in
    order to strengthen the company's competitiveness.
    2.0 The underlying Reason That
    Triggered the Issues
    1. The Cargo Increasing
    -Company need the more container to fill up with the cargo because the booming of using cargo to be
    transported throught ocean.

    -It gives impact to the higher deman and it means more profit to come

    ◦ Container issues, if the company can increase the amount of the container without violating the rules they
    recipient will more trusting the company, the income will increase effectively.
    ◦ The operational activities of KL maritime company will progress so that the problems at the company
    will definitely decrease. The bad impact is about the storage, they need bigger storage and the
    improvement in infrastructure.
    2. Have better planning and better management.
    ◦ Better planning in terms of time will have an impact to the container they transport are handed to the
    customer or market within the prescribed time.
    ◦ Better management will have an impact in delivering the cargo with good condition, and certainly in
    times of delivering time.
    6.0 Avoid the similar issue in the future
    ◦ Add more container or to expand the container capacity to fill up the cargo with ultra-vessels to fulfilled
    the demand for berth and storage.
    ◦ Focus on the business process improvement.
    ◦ Add more the shift of the shipping and expand the route sails
    ◦ Avoid the shipping delayed using multimodal transportation
    ◦ Be effective and efficient in handling containers
    ◦ Build trust relationship with the exporter and the importer in terms of time, better management to ensure
    that container they transport are handed to the customerr.
