CSS Ip Address

IP addresses are a unique identifier for machines on a network and are used to connect computers to transfer files and email. IP addresses consist of four sections that range from 0 to 255 and represent both the machine and network. There are different classes of IP addresses that are reserved for different uses, such as governments, medium companies, small companies, and multicasting. Subnetting allows for division of local networks into greater numbers of networks and simplifies addressing.
