LTIA
• The Lupong Tagapamayapa
Incentives Awards (LTIA) was
established pursuant to Executive
Order No. 394 series of 1997.

• Executive Order No. 394 series of
1997;
• DILG Memorandum Circular No.
2008-102 dated June 17, 2008; and

dated April 29, 2016

Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentives
Awards Enhanced Criteria and Guidelines”
LTIA Objectives
1. Strengthen the Katarungang
Pambarangay (KP) as an indigenous
conflict resolution structure at the
grassroots level;
LTIA Objectives
2. Institutionalize a system of
granting economic benefits and
other incentives to Lupong
Tagapamayapa, or Lupons, which
demonstrate exemplary performance;
LTIA Objectives
3. Generate greater awareness
and support from the various
sectors of Philippine Society on the
KP as a potent vehicle toward social
ordering and human development.
4 Categories of LTIA
Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa in
Highly Urbanized Cities;
Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa in
Component and Independent Component Cities;
Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa
in 1st – 3rd Class Municipalities; and
Outstanding Lupong Tagapamayapa
in 4th – 6th Class Municipalities
AWARDS GUIDELINES
All Lupong Tagapamayapa nationwide
are eligible to participate in the annual
award;
All the Lupons are evaluated on the
basis of the ff. criteria, with
corresponding point score and point
value:
