SUGGESTION
OBJECTIVE -
▪Foster "Total Employee Involvement" by encouraging participation for continual improvement in
their work areas.
▪Evolve an organized channel through which suggestion/ideas leading to improvements in work
place and products can be given and implemented.
▪Recognize employees with creative ideas, and motivate them to contribute for the growth and
prosperity of the organization.
▪Promote Teamwork, Ownership and Accountability at all levels.
SCOPE -
▪All employees including WC (White collar) / BC (Blue Collar), Trainees, Apprentices and Temps are
eligible to participate in the scheme.
▪Suggestions are invited from all areas of operations.
▪There is no restriction in the number of suggestions that an employee can give.

▪ Near Assembly Line

▪ Near Time Office
▪ Near Reception & Canteen
Educating on importance of suggestion system:
▪ Mailers for WC
▪ One day session on the shop floor for BC
▪ Display posters and danglers on shop floor and offices
Committee Member:
▪ One member from each pillars, Quality, Maintenance and
safety, Production, Process, HR
Committee Meetings:
▪ Weekly meeting for segregation of suggestions
▪ Monthly to Analyze the Kaizen ideas and create projects
(Variable based on number of suggestions)
KAIZEN
▪Ideas which are implemented
▪Reward based on quality of idea and number of kaizen ideas given
Rewards/Recognition
System
▪Daily use / domestic use items having cost upto Rs. 20/- will be given as token reward for all the
valid suggestions received.
▪A certificate of appreciation will be awarded for the suggestions which can be implemented.
▪All selected Suggestions will be awarded once in a month.
▪Highest implemented suggestions in a quarter will be separately awarded.
▪Highest implemented suggestion in a year will be treated as a Star Workman.
