VISION -
To be a benchmark for global manufacturing excellence by driving all the employees for delivering
best improvements .

OBJECTIVE -
▪Foster "Total Employee Involvement" by encouraging participation for continual improvement in
their work areas.
▪Evolve an organized channel through which suggestion/ideas leading to improvements in work
place and products can be given and implemented.
▪Recognize employees with creative ideas, and motivate them to contribute for the growth and
prosperity of the organization.
▪Promote Teamwork, Ownership and Accountability at all levels.

SCOPE -
▪All employees including WC (White collar) / BC (Blue Collar), Trainees, Apprentices and Temps are
eligible to participate in the scheme.
▪Suggestions are invited from all areas of operations.
▪There is no restriction in the number of suggestions that an employee can give.

▪Cost Saving idea in Material, consumables, Scrap, Energy, Resources.

WHAT IS NOT A SUGGESTION ?


▪Comment on Company Policies / Structure / Hierarchy
▪Matters of collective bargaining/ industrial relations
▪Ideas pointing to any individual.

PROCEDURE OF SUGGESTION
▪Suggestions should be in writing (Hindi, English) on the prescribed form (Annexure 1).
▪Suggestions can be submitted by individuals or jointly by eligible employees
▪Suggestions forms duly filled in shall be put in suggestions boxes kept at the time office/
Assembly line/ Paint shop Area / Reception / canteen and other convenient locations.
▪Suggestions box will be opened weekly by coordinator.
▪The suggestion will be sorted out into valid and invalid suggestion.
▪All valid suggestion will be studied by the concerned departmental Head to know whether
they can be implemented or not.
▪Suggestions received will be discussed in the suggestion committee meeting and award
will be decided.
▪The status of each suggestion received will be displayed on the Notice board within one
month of the date of opening the box.

▪Ideas which are accepted but not implemented.
▪Reward based on Maximum no. of suggestions given

KAIZEN
▪Ideas which are implemented
▪Reward based on quality of idea and number of kaizen ideas given

Rewards/Recognition
System
▪Daily use / domestic use items having cost upto Rs. 20/- will be given as token reward for all the
valid suggestions received.
▪A certificate of appreciation will be awarded for the suggestions which can be implemented.
▪All selected Suggestions will be awarded once in a month.
▪Highest implemented suggestions in a quarter will be separately awarded.
▪Highest implemented suggestion in a year will be treated as a Star Workman.
