Microsoft 365 ISSUES & TROUBLESHOOTING

• Sync Issues
• New accounts may take up to 24 hours before they can start using 365 services
• New owners/members added to channel, may take sometime to sync

• Application Issues
• MS Planner app may not work or appears to be hanged

• Basic Troubleshooting
• Logoff & Login
• If using MS Teams from multiple devices, temporarily logoff on all except one device
• Try to use the 365 services from browser in case desktop application fails
• Ensure good Internet speed, especially during video conference
• Post your issues in the “IT Support” Channel
REMOTE user basic SECURITY
• Follow all security guidelines issues by IT department

• Must have latest updates for:


• Windows OS
• Anti-Virus (Kaspersky, Trend Micro, McAfee, etc)
• Applications like Adobe, browsers, etc

• Routine Maintenance, ideally weekly


• Full Scan of System
• Check for updates
• Delete older applications or files which are no longer needed

• One Drive
• Do not share confidential files/data
• Must require “sign-in” for any documents shared
• Delete data once data has been downloaded

• Report any security issues immediately to IT department
