Placement Process

Placement refers to assigning jobs to selected candidates, including initial assignments for new employees as well as transfers, promotions, or demotions of current employees. It involves matching a candidate's qualifications to the requirements of a specific job. Conducting proper placement improves employee morale and reduces turnover, absenteeism, and accidents. Induction and orientation of new employees is important to familiarize them with the organization, policies, culture, and their roles and responsibilities. The goal is for new hires to become productive independently sooner by understanding how everything works.
