    INTRODUCTION

    SAIL, Salem, the production industry has been


    an addition to our list of manufacturing
    processes, where we wanted to be self sustained.

    Initially, set up for providing export quality Steel


    of various specifications for varied building
    requirements.
    Success follows hard work thus asking us to
    expand our production divisions to cater the needs

    of other local manufactures.


    Salem, known for the Mango, is India's largest
    producer and exporter of Mangoes.

    This paved the way for us to provide high quality


    of Mangoes in chilled containers, as a special
    requirement.

    Purchasing activity covers purchase of iron and other


    services.

    Purchasing supervisor/stores inventory controller is


    consolation with MD is responsible for the purchasing
    activity.

    All the suppliers are evaluated and approved on the


    basis of the rating record of supplying materials.

    Generally purchases are made from the approved


    suppliers.
    PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT

    The main raw material of packaging is iron.

    First the iron is converted into linar.

    Second the linar is covered by Steel according to


    required sizes.

    After that Grissing & Slatting process has done.


    FINANCE DEPARTMENT

    Accounts manager finance statements


    are
    prepared primarily for decision making.

    It is an organied collection of data according to logical


    and consistent accounting procedures.

    Finance is the life blood of an organization.

    Finance is the only part which brings together various


    segments as an organization which helps to attains the
    organization goals.

    Company’s success is also effected by dealing and
    association of the sales department and representative
    with customers and with others department also
    influences the company’s reputation with many publics.

    For every trading concern maximization is a must thing.

    There is two option for a firm increase its profits one is

    policy and waste control and cost control.
