Wireless Central Cooling and Heating System For Buildings Using Arduino

This document outlines a proposed wireless central cooling and heating system for buildings using Arduino. It lists group members and supervisor and provides an introduction, problem statement, objectives, components, and proposed block diagram. The system would use sensors to monitor temperature and flames, an Arduino controller, displays, and heating/cooling systems to regulate the environment based on preset values and detect fires. It describes applications in temperature-sensitive industries and homes to efficiently control the climate in a smart, automated way.

ATD 2
Introduction
 An automatic system to control the environment of
Buildings.
 The system comprises of sensors which senses the
temperature of building.
 To regulate the environment temperature based on
preset values.
 Fire protection Capability
 Automatically handling of the current environment
temperature through controller.

ATD 3
Problem Statement

 Inaccurate management of temperature leads to huge financial

disasters in Temperature sensitive Industries, pharmaceuticals,
Poultry (hatcheries)
 Temperature is most critical factor during incubation (37.50C).
 Temp-sensitive medicines require storage at around 4-8 °C.
 Temp-sensitive food industries and cold chain supply Products.
 A specific allowed temperature should be considered for hospital
wards.

Flame Sensor(LM393)

 Operating voltage 3.3V-5V.

 4 Pins.

 Flame detection distance, lighter flame test can be

triggered within 0.8m (3 feet), if the intensity of flame is
high , the detection distance will be increased.

 Detection angle about 60 degrees, it is sensitive to the

flame spectrum.

 Power indicator (red) and digital switch output indicator
