Image Readout Principle

X-ray energy is stored


in Imaging plates.

Laser stimulates the


luminescence (blue
light) that is converted
into electronic data by
using a photomultiplier
and read-out
electronics.

Image is transferred
and stored into
computer for post-
processing and
analysis.

Installation Preconditions

Installation place:
PC environment:
- Surface must be stable
and vibration free - The unit works only with
compatible Dental Imaging
- Avoid installing the unit software, such as CLINIVIEW™.

Service Assistant

• Service assistant includes basic level service commands to


perform adjustments, alignments and calibrations. Refer to
Service Manual for details

Note: to make a firmware update, a complete service


software, “s2terminal” is needed.

Start service assistant by pressing

Ctrl + Alt + Shif + A

• Service assistant can be used for the following functions


• View and sign service log
• View and modify Scan eXam™ One configuration
• Carry out unit calibration
• Perform unit trouble-shooting and calibration
• Upgrade firmware

by unit IP-address

If IP-address is not known, new IP-
address can be forced to unit by
starting S2terminal with command
s2terminal followed by new IP-
address with argument -c

Example:
C:\s2terminal 192.168.1.45 –c

IP-address change will have to be


confirmed by pressing “Start” –button
in the unit.
