1. A line has two subsets: a line segment and a ray. 2. A line segment has two endpoints and is named starting with one endpoint followed by the other. A ray has one endpoint and extends endlessly in one direction from that endpoint, and is named starting with its endpoint followed by any other point on the ray. 3. Set operations can be performed on lines and their subsets, including union and intersection. The union of two sets is the combination of all elements in both sets, while the intersection is the elements shared by both sets.
