    Challenge of Mainframe

    - Lack of Technical Expertise


    - High maintenance cost- Hardware and licencing cost
    - Poor GUI and lack of ease of connectivity with mobile application
    - Performance deterioration with mobile/web transaction
    - No way to monitor actual mainframe performance having mobile adoption

    Why Mainframe Modernization


    - To add Analytics facility to use potentioal of data : Mainframe flat file based DB did not support Analytics .
    New DBs like MangoDB, NOSQL repacing old IMS ,
    - To enable Mobile transaction on Mainframe backend application.
