IoT Based Smart Home

This document presents an IoT based smart home project that uses a NodeMCU microcontroller and Blynk app to control home appliances like lights and sockets via a smartphone over WiFi. It aims to turn appliances on/off remotely, check status and faults, measure power consumption, and include security features like gas/fire detection with phone notifications. The timeline shows the planned tasks from literature review to final presentation. Block and Proteus diagrams are included, along with references for similar Bluetooth, GSM and IoT based home automation systems.
