Media use log (5 mins)


a. Think of the past week and record your use and interaction with
media and information providers ( internet, books, social media,
radio or newspaper
b. Indicate how many hours were spent to engage with each one
(estimate the time)
c. Prepare a short report by answering the following question:

refers to all non-electronic,

to communicate and disseminate
information or messages.
Media Literacy - as the ability
to “access, analyze, evaluate
and communicate information.

Information- knowledge of specific


events or situations that has been
gathered or received by communication;
intelligence or news.
Information Literacy - is the ability to
know when there is a need for
information, while at the same time,
being able to identify, locate and
effectively use sources of information.
