Integrating Seesaw

Seesaw can be used in the classroom for creative thinking activities, reflections, and demonstrative learning through exit tickets. • Number line Practice:
• Create a number line on Seesaw.
• Have students identify where integers belong on the line by drawing or adding text.

• Prime Factorization
• Provide students with a number that they need to factor.
• Students can draw lines connecting the numbers either type or draw numbers.

• Read and Reflect:
• Connect a link to a reading passage for the students to access.
• After reading the passage, students go back into Seesaw and click “Add Response”
• Students can use tools such as voice recording, notes, video, or drawing to reflect on
their readings.

• Vocabulary Organizer
• Create a template for students to fill out based on vocabulary words.
• Students can add text, drawings, or recordings.

• Share What’s Happening:
• During a science experiment, take pictures and upload them onto the
assignment.
• Add text, drawings, or voice recording to explain what is happening in the
pictures.

• Labeling a Diagram:
• Upload a blank template to Seesaw.
• Allow students to drag each text box where it belongs on the
diagram.

• Creating a newspaper article:
• Students are given a blank template to write a newspaper article about a historic
event.
• Students can add images and text onto the template in Seesaw.

• Map Identification
• Students are given a blank map template.
• Students can add text or draw to identify specific continents, bodies of water,
countries, etc.
