Historical Background: The problem of cutting-off material to
size is common to practically every industry. Often, sawing is the
first operation carried out on bar stock. Therefore, it is surprising
that so little work has been done to understand the problems of
this common operation.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
Demonstration and working of “Solar powered
portable table Saw Machine” with the help of a 12V
battery, RS755 DC motor(12V) and 20W Solar Panel.
To convert Solar energy to Electrical energy with the
help of a Solar panel and then to mechanical energy
by a DC Motor which cuts wood(20 mm thickness)
with the help of a saw blade.

OBJECTIVES
Effective use of Solar energy to power a portable table Saw
Machine.
To cater the need of ever increasing power requirement.
Sustainable and practical alternative for industries.
To manufacture a portable and compact prototype.

BELT MECHANISM
• Transmits the power efficiently
• Noise and vibrations are damped out
• Machine life is increased because load fluctuations
are shock absorbed.
