ADJECTIVE • A word that modifies a noun or pronoun (NOT A VERB) • Some adjectives tell how many or what kind about the words they modify. •Some adjectives tell which one or which ones. ADVERB • modifies a verb, an adjective, or another adverb • helps make meaning clear by telling how, when, where, or to what extent something is true EXAMPLES How? When? Where?
