SK Fund Utilization

The 10% of the SK Fund shall be used solely for youth development and empowerment programs and projects. The SK funds shall be deposited in a government-owned bank in or nearest to the barangay with the SK chairperson and treasurer as signatories. The funds can be allocated for mandatory training and elections, as well as programs promoting equitable education, environment protection, climate adaptation, youth employment, health, anti-drug abuse, gender sensitivity, sports development, capability building, and Linggo ng Kabataan celebrations. Financial records of all SK funds must be kept by the treasurer and furnished to the sangguniang barangay.

FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE

The SK funds shall be deposited in the


name of the SK of the concerned
barangay in a government-owned bank
situated in or nearest to its area of
jurisdiction with the SK chairperson and
the SK treasurer as the official
signatories.

2. Environment protection;

5. Health;
6. Anti-drug abuse;
ALLOCATION OF SK FUNDS

b) Youth Development and


Empowerment Programs and Projects
that will promote:
7. Gender sensitivity;
8. Sports development;
9. Capability building which give emphasis on
leadership training; and
10. Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration.
All SK funds derived from any source shall
be stated in its financial records which
shall be kept by the SK treasurer, copy
furnished the sangguniang barangay, in
simplified manner as may be prescribed
by the COA.
