Presentation On:-Drones: Prepared by - Akarsht Pachyala (CSE '30')

This presentation discusses drones and their basic components and workings. It introduces drones as unmanned aerial vehicles with four propellers arranged in an X or plus configuration. The basic materials needed include a circuit board, brushless motors, electronic speed controllers, a remote control with transmitter and receiver, and a battery. It explains that the rotation and direction of the four motors is controlled by signals from the remote control to allow movement according to the user's input. Applications mentioned include news making, agriculture, delivery, photography/videography, and military use.

INTRODUCTION

 Over the last few years we have seen a massive growth in the
manufacture and sales of remote control airborne vehicles known as
‘QUADCOPTER’.
 Quadcopter is also known as a DRONE.
 These unnamed aerial vehicles have four arms and fixed pitch
propellers which set in a ‘x’ and ‘+’ mods.
 In the standard format, two propellers will spin in a clockwise
direction with the other spinning in an anticlockwise direction ,
allowing to fly in a designated direction.
BASIC MATERIAL REQUIRED :-

KK2.1.5 CIRCUIT BOARD DC BRUSHLESS MOTOR ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROLLER

REMOTE CONTROL 2.4 GHZ TRANSMITTER AND 12V,4500 mAh BATTERY

WORKING PRINCIPLE

 Quadcopter is a device with an intense mixture of electronics ,

mechanical and mainly the principle of aviation.
Quadcopter has four motors whose speed and direction of rotation
changes acc. to user’s desire to move the device.
The rotation of motor changes as per the transmiited signal send from the
four channel transmiiter.
The signal from microcontroller goes to the ESC which in turn controls
the speed of motor.
MOTION :-

 AGRICULTURE

 DELIVERY

 PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEOGRAPHY

 MILITARY USE
