Takshak 2k19 will be a 2-day Mega Management Fest, which will provide a platform to
students from various colleges to participate in some interesting Management and IT-
based competitions and showcase their knowledge, talent and innovative ideas.

AD- MAD SHOW
The Ad Mad Show competition is the perfect platform to showcase the knack to advertise
and win hearts. It gives a platform to participants to showcase their abilities to sell their
products in a creative way. The competitions' objective is to acquaint the students about
promotional strategies in marketing through advertisements. It comprises humorous &
conceptual ad presentation by the students.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
 Min 3 & max 4 participants per team are allowed
 There is only one round for this event
 No cell phones & electronic gadgets will be permitted to use
 Every group member has to actively participate during their ad. Drama performance
 In whole event, judges’ decision will be final, irrevocable and binding to everyone
ROUND:
 The prop will be given 30 minutes before the commencement of the event for
designing the advertisement
 Maximum 5 minutes will be given to each team for presenting their designing as well
as drama
 It includes designing of Brand name, Jingle & performing a Drama based on prop
 No cell phones & electronic gadgets will be permitted to use
 Prop will be given to participants
 Every group member has to actively participate during their advertisement
performance

BUSINESS & IT QUIZ
EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Business Quiz is the game of question & answer. This game is to judge the knowledge of the participants
towards the industries, companies and products. It also intends to judge the awareness of participants about
business & business related areas.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
 Participation in the form of team only
 A team shall consist of 2 members only
 The team has to complete the registration process to be eligible for the event
 During registration, students are required to show their respective institution identity card
 Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration
 There is no restrictions on the number of teams from the institute
 The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile and any other electronic device during the quiz
 The decision of the quiz master and the judges will be final and binding
ROUND 1 – WRITTEN ROUND
Each team would be given a set of question paper containing 25 multiple choice
objective type questions
Time limit - 30 minutes
Only 6 Teams would be selected for BUZZER ROUND
In case of tie between 2 or more teams, further 5 questions would be asked for final
selection
The selected teams shall have to appear for the final round

ROUND 2- BUZZER ROUND


 There will be 8 questions in this round. Team pressing the buzzer first will be
given the chance to answer.
 15 marks will be awarded for each correct answer & 5 marks will be deducted for
each incorrect answer.
 Team will be given 60 seconds for each question
 This round will include
 Personality Identification
 Logo Identification
 Voice Identification
ROUND 3- RAPID FIRE(FINAL ROUND)

Every team will be asked to nominate one member from their team.
Nominated member will be asked to answer ten questions in 60 seconds.
5 marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
TREASURE HUNT
Event Description
Treasure hunt can be played as teams competing for time. It is fun to play either inside or out . Treasure
hunt game, in which teams use their collective brainpower to solve clues. Each team is presented with a
group of puzzles or clues . Which must solve in order to find a piece of information. Each clue leads to a
location within walking distance, where players must find and use a vital piece of information to answer
a question.

General Guidelines
 Participation in the form of team only
 A team shall consist of min 3 and max 5 participants
 The team has to complete the registration process to be eligible for the game
 During the registration, students are required to show their respective institution ID cards
 After the registration, replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed
 Their is only one round for this game
GAME RULE:
 The time limit is 45minutes for finding and solving the clue.
 The treasure hunt consists of five clues, each one leading to one or more treasures.
 At each treasure location, there are four slips of paper- one of each team’s .
 All teams must have at least 3 members ant not more than 5 members.
 Teams must stay together during the treasure hunt and are encouraged to work together to
solve the clue.
 The clue will be in riddles, trivia questions or picture form

ABOUT & RULES:
A photo theme simply means creating a set of photographs that are related in some way,
whether it be through subject, colour or reoccurring pattern.
 Format: JPEG, JPG
 Size: Between 3 MB and 12 MB (1600 or less pixels wide in case of horizontal image and 1600 pixels tall in
case of vertical image and 200ppi resolution)
 No watermarks allowed
 B&W is acceptable
 Unnatural processing of images is highly unacceptable
 Failing to adhere to any of the guidelines would result in disqualification of entry
WEAVE A STORY

Narrative photography is the idea that photographs can be used to tell a story.

STARTUP EVENT
A startup is a young company founded by one or more entrepreneurs in order to develop a unique
product or service and bring it to market. Therefore this event can be a perfect platform to show
your innovative and unique ideas that will benefit the society at large . It gives opportunities to
young , talented people who believe in becoming an entrepreneur in future.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
 Participants will be in the form of single, duo or in groups.
 Maximum 3-4 people are allowed in a group.
 Participants will have to complete the registration process prior to the event.
 During registration, participants will have to submit soft copies in form of pen drives or CDs.
 Participants are required to show their identity cards of their respective institutions.
 Replacement and backing off of participants is not allowed after completing the registration process.
 Whole event is to be done in English language only.
 Your Presentation slides should be in dark color.
 The decision of judges will be final and binding.
 Your idea should be unique and not copied. If found copied the participants might get disqualified.
WHAT WE SEEK IN THE PARTICIPANTS:

 Coming up with great creative and innovative ideas to start any venture.
 Having a strong plan and vision for the business.
 Sources from where funding and capital will be brought in to start the venture.
 Knowing when to pivot your strategy.
 Proper procedure and strategy to implement your plans.

ROUND 1:
Round 1 will be your slideshow presentation and the presentation should be of minimum 2
minutes and maximum 4 minutes.
ROUND 2:
Questions and answers round .
Questions will be asked based on the presentation.

JUDGING CRITERIA:
 Judging will be based on your idea, content and power point presentation.
 Other criteria like your speaking skills, gesture, posture, body language will also be taken into
consideration.
OPEN MIC
We give all the young comedians out there a platform to tickle audience with the best of
your comic skills. Be the reason for all the giggles and laughs around.
Use original material
It is an individual competition
Respect the format and follow the instructions of the host
Minimum 3 minutes and maximum 4 minutes is allocated for a participant to act
Performance exceeding the time limit would be considered invalid
Medium of speech would be English or Hindi
Respect your fellow participants and appreciate them
Participants shall be judged on the basis of :
1. Content
2. Fluency
3. On-stage presentation
4. Sense of humour
Decision of the judges will be final and binding
YOUTH POETRY
A poem in its entirely must be an original work by the person entering the contest
Plagiarism of any sort would lead to straight disqualification
Only one poem per person
The write up can either be in Hindi or English
Poem should not exceed 3 stanzas or 26 lines
Poems containing language that is vulgar, offensive, or wholly inappropriate will not be accepted
Participants shall be judged on the basis of their
1. poetic technique
2. effectiveness
3. style and creativity
WHAT’S IN THE VOICE

 The participants have to host 2-minute radio shows in which they have to plug in
some funny lines given to them.
 The main catch to this was that the Rj’s were hidden behind a screen which they
literally have to impress judges with there voice and speaking skill.
 There would be a heavy dose of laughter humor is what this event would carry.
 There would be only one round and the best is awarded.
