ABSTRACT
In Information Technology one of the most
important developments in recent years are
that manual systems are being replaced by
automated and self-operating system.

“Automated Library Management System”


introduces the automated system for daily
manual operations in the library..
INTRODUCTION

“Automated Library Management System” is the


proposed software system model to automate daily
manual library operations, And reduces unnecessary
work for librarian.

This system uses “Image Processing” to identify


student and “Speech Processing” to take inputs as
the voice commands to automate the work of
borrowing, renewal or return of books.
Existing System:

• In the early days in the library, we have used record


books for maintaining library details of the student,
such as book issued, renewed or returned by the
students.

• Swapping pages of record book to find a record of


students and then make entries.

• But it is very time consuming and creates


unnecessary work for the librarian.
Proposed System:

• This system uses “Image Processing” to Identify


students.

• By identifying students face the entries related to


library operations such as to issue, renew and return
books are made.

• Its easier to find the book in any categories or based on


contents of the book.

4. We can check the statistics related to the availability of


the book in Android Application before reaching to the
library.

5. We can download question papers from the website.

6. E-Books and PDF formats of books are also available on


the website.

1.Operating system Windows 7/8/10.
2.Minimum 1 TB HardDisk.
3.Minimum 4GB RAM.
4.Minimum i5 Processor .
5.Minimum 2GB Graphics Support.

External Peripherals:
1.Minimum 15 Mega Pixel Camera (High Resolution).
2.Microphone For Voice Input.
Front End:

1. JAVA - (For Desktop Software & Android Application.)

2. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP -(For Website).

Back End:

1. MySQL.

2. Xampp Server
FUTURE SCOPE

1. We can use it to automate our college library and


we also enhance it further .
