ALI is a pharmaceutical toll manufacturing company


ALI started operations on March 2007 with its Solids Plant and
expanded with a new Liquids Plant on April 2010
ALI is designed to produce a variety of products in major
therapeutic categories in tablet, capsule, powder,
ointments, and non-steroidal creams format and liquids
products in syrup, suspension, and drops format
Many of these products are leading brands in the Philippines,
Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Hongkong, Vietnam
and Myanmar

MAIN PROCESSES

 Chemical/Biological Synthesis- Chemical synthesis based on chemical reactions, and


bioprocessing based on the ability of microorganisms and cells to produce useful
substances.
 Preliminary Purification - removing undesirable chemicals, biological contaminants,
suspended solids, and gases from water.
 Crystallization- a chemical is converted from a liquid solution into a solid crystalline
state.
 Filtration- a process used to separate solids from liquids or gases using a filter medium
that allows the fluid to pass through but not the solid.
 Drying- A source of heat and an agent to remove the vapor produced by the process.
 Drying oven- used to remove moisture content from coatings and various substrate.
MAIN PROCESSES

 Milling – to reduce the particle size of solids


 Blending - mixes the API and excipients to ensure there is a homogeneous mixture
of the all ingredients for each manufacturing process.
 Lubrication process- to improve the powder processing properties of formulations
by preventing the sticking of tablets and capsules.
 Bed Drying- to reduce the moisture content of pharmaceutical powder and
granules.
 Coating- applying a thin polymer-based film to a tablet or a granule containing
active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
 Forming- final process in order to form the product in required shape.
