Logging While Tripping

Logging While Tripping (LWT) is a formation evaluation technique that allows open hole well logs to be collected more quickly and safely than traditional wireline logging. It works by inserting a composite LWT collar into the drillstring which contains memory logging tools that deploy once total depth is reached to gather density, porosity, and rate of penetration data, eliminating the need to trip drill pipe to log. LWT provides a safe, cost effective, simple and efficient way to obtain formation data during drilling operations.
