 Banking Industry & its Growth Opportunities


The banking sector being a part of service sector contributes around 56.9 per cent to
the Indian GDP (2019, March IBEF Reports).
The sector growth rate around 8.5 per cent per year.

 Employee Engagement
Review of Literature
• A study titled “Employee Engagement: The Key to Improving Performance”:
(Marko's S & Sridevi S, 2010) highlights employee engagement as a broad
concept which has it relation with many facets of HR. It has been closely related
to job satisfaction, employee commitment and organizational behavior. It is a two
way relationship between employee & employers.

• A report titled “Engaging for Success: enhancing performance through employee


engagement” by Macleod D & Clarke N, talks employee engagement is when
business value the employees and employees value the business.
