    National Program for Organic Production (NPOP) is an Indian

    Any certified organic food product in INDIA must have these


    certification marks on packages

    Cost of certification for small holders group/Individual
    farmers/Small processors
    • Fee for Inspection and Certification (per man‐day):
    Rs.16,000/- to Rs.18,000/-
    • Fee for travel time: Rs.6,000/- to Rs.8000/- per day
    • Fee for Scope Certificate: Rs.12,000/- to Rs.15,000/-
    • Fee for Report preparation: Rs.4,000/- to Rs.5,000/-
    • Fees per Transaction Certificate: Rs.700/- to Rs.1000/-
    • Label Assessment (per label): Rs.500/- to Rs.1000/-
    • Travel expenses: Actual expenses

    Total approximate cost: Rs.40,000 to 50,000/- per year
