Steps in Connecting your Software to Biometrics

• Open ZKTECO Attendance Management at your Desktop


• Click the DEVICE Tab
• Select the ADD NEW DEVICE button, and Click OK
• In COMMUNICATION MODE select USB then
Click OK
• Go to the EMPLOYEES Tab
• For changing or renaming your District or School, Click the
DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT button
• At the Bottom Input all the Data of
Employees/Teacher’s
• If you done inputting all the data of the Employees, Click SAVE
• Go to the USB DISK MANAGE
• Select SELF SERVICE READER then OK
• Exporting the Data through USB
Click the USER DATA EXPORT
Click >>,Then EXPORT USER DATA TO U DISK

•After exporting the data to the USB remove it from the PC

•After Exporting the records you’ve made, remove the USB in your PC

Then insert the USB to the Biometric


•Uploading the data of employees from software to
Biometric

 Long press the M/OK


 Select DATA MGT., Press OK
 UPLOAD USER press OK
 Click ESC/BACK then press OK
• Enrolling of Finger Prints
• Select USER, then press OK
• USER MGT
• Select the name of the first employee, then OK
• Select ENROLL FP
• Enrolled Finger Print 3x

• After enrolling the FP, click ESC then OK


• To generate an output you must have check in twice a day
at the morning and in the afternoon same in with check out
• Transferring the Data of Biometrics to USB

• Go to DATA MGT, then OK


• Select DOWNLOAD ATTLOG, then press
OK
• After Downloading the AttLog from the Biometric, unplug the USB. Then put
it back to the PC

• Go Back to the Software


• Printing Attendance Logs

• Go to USB DISK MANAGE


• Select SELF SERVICE READER, then click OK
• Go to the RECORD DATA IMPORT, then click the
IMPORT the REC from U DISK
There are two Ways of Printing Report

With Second Without Second


• In AC LOG(with SECONDS)

• Go to AC LOG Tab
•In NAME Tab drop down then check all the
names, then click SEARCH
• Set the TIME RANGE(ex. FROM JUNE 4-
30,2018)
• Click EXPORT
• Uncheck the not important detail of your
Report , then OK
• Then Set a File name of your Report(ex. Attendance
for the Month of June)

• Go to the Documents the find the File Name


• This is what your report look like
• In REPORT(without seconds)

• Click the REPORT Tab


• Drop Down the NAME, then check all or check it
by individual
• Set the TIME RANGE ( just like in the AC LOG)

• Then Click CALCULATE


• Click NOSHIFTUSERATT
• Then Click EXPORT DATA
Uncheck the not important detail of your
Report , then OK
Then Set a File name of your Report(ex. Attendance for the
Month of June)

• Go to the Documents the find the File


Name
• This is what your report look like
