Accident detection and alert system

•Our system uses ardueno and similar packages to detect the


occurrence of an accident of the vehicle in which the system is
installed.
•Once the system detects an accident it collects information on
the location of the vehicle and identifies the closest available
hospital/medical facility .
•The system sends an alert to the hospital about the accident and
includes data like the location , probable number of passengers in
the vehicle and information about them.
•This will help the hospital to properly attend to the needs of the
victims and will be very helpful in saving their lives.
•The system can use pressure pads under the seats and a
camera module to identify the number of passengers in the
vehicle.
•Face recognition software can be used to identify passengers
and to pull up their medical details like blood group , allergies
etc and send it along with other data to the hospital.
•The addition of such data like no of passengers and their
details will help the medical authorities in treatment.
•The camera module may also be able to monitor the status of
the patients after the accident.
