Token Number Display With Music: Information Technology

The document describes a token number display system with music that uses an Arduino microcontroller. The system has four main modules: an Arduino board to control the system, a display module using LEDs to show the token number, an audio module using a speaker to play sounds, and push buttons to increment and decrement the token number. The system works by incrementing the token number and playing a sound when one push button is pressed, and decrementing the number when the other is pressed, notifying customers of their upcoming turn.

Introduction:
 Token Display System are ideal for Banks, Airports, Public
dealing offices , Hospitals and at so many places.
 These systems allow customers to wait without having to stand
in line.
 It is also possible to attach more than one display with a single
system.
Modules
 Arduino
 Display Module
 Audio Module
 Push buttons
Arduino:
 The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the
ATmega328 (datasheet).
 It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as
PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz ceramic resonator, a
USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset
button.
Display Module:
 An LED or Light Emitting Diode, is a solid state optical pn-
junction diode which emits light energy in the form of photons.
 The emission of these photons occurs when the diode junction is
forward biased by an external voltage allowing current to flow
across its junction, and in Electronics we call this process
electroluminescence.
Audio Module:
 In token number display system we are using speaker for
generating output as an audio signals using arduino.
Push Button:
 It is used to display next number on seven segment display.
 In our mini project we use 2 push button.(next and reset)
Program Methodology:
 The programming is done in Arduino IDE in such a way so that
the token number display system should work in proper format.
 For controlling the flow of program various variables are
declared such as a, b, c, etc.
 Each variable is given different task to perform.
Circuit Diagram:
Working:
 After turning on the power supply we are having two
push buttons.
 If signal is given through push button 1 then the value
of token number is incremented and sound is created
to aware the costumers.
 If signal is given through push button 2 then the value
of token number is decremented.
