• What is a storyboard?
– It is a visual representations that aid in the creation process of digital
storytelling.

• How does it look like?


– It lays out images in sequential order to create the flow of the production
 The main goal is to provide students with a better learning experience, and our
personal objectives will be to successfully complete the project within four
months period.

 Our goal is also to provide a good video in terms of information, audio and
video quality to students

 Another goal would be to learn new software’s along with mastering project
management skills like leading the team, teamwork and also time management.

the interview and survey image and tutorial learning video

Avid FreeDV: basic video and audio Windows Video Maker :For help us in
editing capabilities for the project editing the video.

Cam Studio :record all screen and Microsoft PowerPoint: is required to


audio activity on computer for give a brief presentation about this
presentation project

• IT students are required to study a wide variety of subjects
• Some of these subjects have topics that students find difficult to
understand
• Basically IT student studying Business Information Management
in Help University was not easy as there were many IT subjects
that we challenging
• Our experience as a IT student in the first year was kind of
challenging as we faced some subject that was really hard
and needed a lot of concentration to succeed in it
• Choosing subjects and topic is the most challenging part as
– We need to do survey
– Distribute the survey
– Collect the survey and Gather the information
• After done with the survey, next we need to interview lecturer to
– Identify why student are facing difficulties on their subject
– Ways to handle this students
– How to make the subject interesting
• We face challenges in the form of students where
– Students tend to ignore the survey
– Students not interested
– Students participating the survey but not providing with proper answers
• We face challenges in the form of lecturers as well where
– We need to make appointment to meet the lecturer
– Record and distribute survey to the lecturers
• We face challenges in video recording also where
– We need to capture the students and lecturers
– Compile the video captured by following the time limit set
– To create a storyboard which will suit the project requirements
– Capture and edit the video using proper software
• Inadequately and inexperienced project knowledge where
– We not well aware of the task given
– Harder to find proper software for the project
– Difficult to design the digital storyboard
– Lack of understanding on the storyboard

• Failure to complete project due to insufficient time.


– Our team members consists of 3 and all 3 of us have other subjects
assignments to complete and there is always a feeling on completing this
project
• Therefore for our storyboard project is to create a digital story in the
form of a video or self running presentation to
– help students who are currently taking the subject
– for those who will taking it to help them understand a particular topic in the
subject
• We have gain a lot of knowledge and skills that will help us more in
the working life in the future
• Finally form this survey, we manage to collect and understand the
difficulties students facing in taking the subject
• The topic the struggled and at the same time how they handle this
subject difficulty
• Form this survey also we get know what are approach taken in order to
students do well in their respective subjects.
• We also learned how to deal with pressure and finish the project on
time as dealing with this situation will help us to be more independent
in the future
• We also learned on how treat team members with equal rights
• Motivating them as friends and not a boss whereby having team
discussion more often and
• Building good relationships among each other as the trust among team
mates will grow and this problem would be eliminated immediately.
• We also learn how set a clear guideline on
– how to develop the project
– tightly scheduled rhythm of daily
– weekly meetings as this is the best way to solve the challenges

• The experiences we earned is valuable as it will guide us not only


completing this project but also to do other project as well
• We made our project into clears process description and this way has
also engaged to streamline communication.
