    Key Club Pledge

    I pledge, on my honor,
    To uphold the objects of Key Club
    International;
    To build my home, school, and community
    To serve my nation and God;
    And combat all forces which tend to
    undermine these institutions
    Key Club Fact of the Week

    Key Club week is an international week that is


    celebrated through the entire world. More
    information in upcoming slide.
    KEY CLUB
    WEEK November 1-5, 2010
    Monday: Orange and White Day / Bring a friend to Key Club; Free
    cookies to those that bring a friend!
    Tuesday: Thank Key Club supporters; community service in Mr.
    Greenbaum’s afterschool
    Wednesday: Dinner with the division; Have dinner with us at BJ’s
    anytime from 6PM-8PM and meet our Kiwanis sponsors and other
    schools within the division
    Thursday: Hug a Key Clubber Day; make a shirt or sign saying
    FREE hugs and wear a Key Club shirt
    Friday: Potluck in Mr. Greenbaum’s room after school. Please bring
    something to share with fellow members.
    Lose the Shoes Soccer Tournament
    Walk to Defeat ALS
    Operation Trick or Treat
    What: Operation Trick or Treat
    When: Friday, October 29th (6:00PM – 8:30PM)
    Where: Around local neighborhoods but we will all meet up at
    Laguna’s front office at the beginning
    Why: Members will trick-or-treat in groups and go around houses
    asking for money to donate towards UNICEF
    You may dress up in an (appropriate) costume to make things fun!
    Division 7 South Halloween Dance
    What: Division 7 South Halloween Dance
    When: Saturday, October 30th (7PM – 10PM)
    Where: Elk Grove High School
    Why: To enjoy the company of other fellow Key Clubbers at our very
    first Halloween Dance
    $6 at the door
    Florin High School Awake-a-thon
    What: Awake-a-thon
    When: Saturday, November 6th (7PM – 7AM)
    Where: Florin High School
    Why: To raise money for Gaucher’s disease and hang out with fellow
    Key Clubbers for a whole night
    How: Sign up in the front, pledge sheets are required
    $25 at the door
    It’ll be one extra hour due to day light savings!
    There will be events such as sports tournaments, a dance, etc.
    DaVita KAT Walk (Kidney Awareness Time)
    What: DaVita KAT Walk
    When: Sunday, November 7th (7:00AM – 12:00PM)
    Where: Discovery Park
    Why: To volunteer with setup, cleanup, and other various jobs
    throughout the day
    How: Sign up in the front

    CANCELLED due to conflicting dates with Awake-a-thon

    Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
    What: Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
    When: Today – November 15th
    Why: Through the small change you raise, you make a big difference
    for children everywhere, helping UNICEF to provide nutrition,
    medicine, education and the things kids need to thrive.

    • Community Service for collecting change
    • Top 3 most raised will earn a prize
    • Boxes available with bulletin editor,

    What: Fall Rally North
    When: October 23rd (6:30AM – 8:00PM)
    Where: Great America
    Why: To raise money for PTP, show off your spirit, and have fun with
    friends at Great America
    ALL 50 SPOTS ARE FULL!
    There will be a mandatory meeting afterwards for those attending
    Permission slips are due, medical forms will be passed out
