The Project we came up with!

“LEGIT”
An application dedicated & designed for the department that aims to ease out &
systemize the activity of recording & maintaining the student attendance.
..BUT WHY?!
The Project simply aims to eradicate the traditional pen-paper based attendance
management, given its weaknesses like:
 Time consumption.
 Requires maintenance of separate “Registries”.
 Redundancy of data.
 “Low quality data”
• Difficult to copy, computerize or print.
 Susceptible to errors.
 Less secure, can be lost easily.
 Have to carry “Registries” with oneself to each class.
 Manual and redundant data entry every month.
 Cannot be accessed by students to assess their attendance status.
 Requires manual calculations.
 Have to calculate shortages, no. of classes, today’s date, etc. manually. 5
