THE EDGE OF THE DRAWING TABLE
(LEFT SIDE F THE TABLE IF YU ARE RIGHT
HANDED AND RIGHT SIDE IF YOU ARE LEFT

2. SLIDE THE WORKING HEAD OF THE T-
SQUARE AGAINST THE WORKING EDGE
F THE DRAWING TABLE.
THE TWO EDGES SHOULD BE IN
CONSTANT CONTACT UNTIL THE DESIRE
POSITION.

PROCEDURES:
1. PRESS FIRMLY THE T-SQUARE AGAINST THE
WOKING EDGE OF THE DRAWING TABLE.
2. PLACE THE DRAWING PAPER CLOSE TO THE
WORKING EDGE F THE DRAWING TABLE AND
WORKING HEAD OF THE T-SQUARE
3. MAKE THE PAPER PARALLEL TO THE TABLE
BY LINING THE EDGE OF THE PAPER WITH THE
EDGE F THE T-SQUARE
4. FASTENED THE UPPER LEFT PORTION OF
THE DRAWING PAPER FOLLOWED BY THE
LOWER RIGHT PORTION
AND FINALLY THE REMAINING CORNERS
DRAWING HORIZONTAL LINES
HORIZONTAL LINES
THE DRAFTSMAN’S HORIZONTAL LINE IS
CONSTRUCTED BY DRAWING FROM LEFT TO
RIGHT ALONG THE WORKING EDGE OF THE T-
SQUARE.
WHEN YOU DRAW HORIZONTAL LINES, KEEP THE WORKING
EDGE OF THE T-SQUARE HEAD IN FIRM CONTACT WITH THE
WORKING EDGE OF THE DRAWING BOARD.
AVOID THIS
THE PENCIL SHOULD BE INCLINED TO THE
RIGHT AT AN ANGLE OF ABOUT 60 DEGREES.

VERTICAL LINES ARE PRODUCED PARALLEL
TO THE WORKING EDGE OF THE DRAFTING
BOARD BY USING TRIANGLES IN
COMBINATION WITH A T-SQUARE.
LINES ARE DRAWN FROM THE BOTTOM GOING
UP. THE PENCIL IS INCLINED AT AN ANGLE OF
APPROXIMATELY 60 DEGREES.
SEQUENCE IN DRAWING SERIES OF VERTICAL
LINES IS FROM LEFT TO RIGHT AT ANY
NUMBER OF TIMES.

BETWEEN THE THUMB AND FOREFINGER
