HOW TO CREATE

ACTIVE DIRECTORY
DOMAIN SERVICES
(ADDS)
1. Click Server manager behind Start
menu
2. Click Roles on the left pane
3. Click Add Roles
4. Click Next
5. Check the ADDS
6. Click Next
7. Click Next
8. Click Install
9. Click Close
HOW TO CREATE DOMAIN NAME
SERVER (DNS)
1. Click Server manager
2. Click Roles
3. Click Add Roles
4. Click Next
5. Check DNS (error occurred)
6. Type dcpromo.exe at search bar or run
command
7. Check advanced mode
8. Click Next
9. Next
10. Click Create new forest
11. Click next
12. Name the forest ex. CSS.COM
13. Next
14. Next
15. Next
16. Next
17. Next
18. Yes
19. Next
20. Enter Password: Css@2016
21. Next
22. Next
23. Check Reboot on Completion (the
system will restart)
•Checking for DNS Domain
must be CSS.COM (window
key + Pause key)

CREATING NEW USER TO
ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT

• Fill up the form Click next,


uncheck the user must
change, check the user
cannot change password and
password never expires, click
next, finish

HOW TO ACCESS THE CREATED USER
ACCOUNT AT THE SERVER USING
CLIENT PC
1. Go to open network sharing center
2. Change adapter settings
3. Right click network icon, properties, click
IPv4, properties button, and click use the
following DNS Server addresses
4. Preferred DNS Server: 192.168.100.10, click
ok, ok
5. Change the workgroup (window key +
Pause key), computer name, click change
button, click domain: CSS.COM, click ok
6. The windows security will appear you must
enter username and password
Username: Administrator
Password: Css@2016
7. Click ok
8. Restart the system
9. Log in the second account that you
created from the server enter it to client pc
(switch user account)
Username: DONO
Password: Css@2016
