History of Windows 10
Windows 10 is a computer operating system developed by Microsoft as part of
the Windows NT operating system family. Introduced on September 30, 2014,
was released on July 29, 2015 and in November 2015, Threshold 2 of Windows
10 was released to the public.
First introduced in April 2014 at the Build Conference, Windows 10 aims to
overcome the shortcomings in the user interface first introduced by Windows
8 by adding additional mechanics designed to enhance the user experience for
devices that have no touch screen. (such as desk computers and laptops),
including the resurrection of the Start menu seen in Windows 7, virtual
desktop systems, and the ability to run Windows Exchange applications in
windows on the desktop rather than full screen mode.
Features of Windows 10
1. Personal Assistant, Cortana
Cortana functions as our personal virtual assistant who can do various things, from playing
music, searching for things on the internet, making meeting reminders, showing the way,
sending posts,
2. Microsoft Edge, Substitute for Internet Explorer
Microsoft Edge is a new browser from Microsoft that serves as a replacement for Internet
explorer, which has been the default browser for all Windows-based devices
3. DirectX 12, For More Real Games
Allows increased performance which is marked by increasing frames per second (FPS)
compared to those using only Single adapters
4. Virtual Desktop & Split View
Can support multitasking to be smoother, because users can do desktop set-ups as they
like
5. Security is getting better
Add Windows Hello 3 which is an advanced security system that is used when we want to enter
our device, by using authentication in the form of a face scan or fingerprint scan

• RAM : 1 gigabyte (GB) for 32-bit or 2 GB for 64-bit

Benefits and Negative of Windows 10

Benefits of Windows 10

• The existence of desktop virtual technology
• Can be used for all devices
Negative of Windows 10
• Windows 10 is not newbie friendly
• Features and performance are not optimal
• Most likely there are still many changes. There are still many shortcomings
that need to be improved, especially on new features
