LCD

PROJECTORS
HOW IT WORKS

 A powerful beam of white light is generated from a or LED inside

the projector body

 This beam of light is then sent to a group of chromatic-coated

mirrors; these reflect the light back at different wavelengths

 When the white light hits these mirrors, the reflected light has
wavelengths corresponding to red, green and blue light components
 These three different colored light components pass through three
LCD screens; these screens show the image to be projected as
millions of pixels in a grey scale
 When the colored light passes through the LCD screens, a red,
green and blue version of the grey image emerges
 These images are then combined using a special prism to produce
a full color image consists of millions of colors ( each shade of grey
in the original image produces a different shade in each of the color
images)
 Finally the image passes through the projector lens onto a screen
USES OF LCD PROJECTORS

•Corporate Presentations. Renting is a good idea if you won’t be using the

equipment very often. One-time events or quarterly shareholder meetings are
good candidates for LCD projector rentals. Bring the equipment in for the
presentation, then send it back when you’re done with it.

•Exhibitions and Trade Shows. Renting equipment for trade show events saves
you from having to haul the equipment with you. Have it sent directly to the
show venue. If anything goes wrong with the equipment during the show, just
contact the rental company to get it repaired or replaced.
•Corporate Travel. For salespeople who travel a lot for business,
LCD projector rentals make it easy to provide digital presentations
for a big audience. Simply coordinate delivery of the equipment
with your supplier and the site of your presentation, plug in your
laptop and go.
•An instructor can use an LCD projector, connected to a desktop
document camera or webcam, to show a tabletop demonstration
to a large audience.
•School instructors and administrative staff can attend trainings
and conferences remotely via webcasts and webinars. An LCD
projector, attached to a network-enabled computer, displays an
interactive session streamed live over the Internet.
