SALES PROMOTION

Sales promotion is a tool of promotion mix consisting to


promote a product or service through incentives or activities
such as offers, discounts, coupons, gifts sweepstakes ,
contests, prizes and free samples. Sales promotion is very
important component of the marketing especially the
promotion mix.Thus it can be said that any action focused
towards enhancing sales as well as usage or trial of a product
or services,is called ‘SALES PROMOTION”.
