    ImaginAsian Entertainment Inc, a US-


    based entertainment company.

    V He was also CEO (USA) and Head of


    International Marketing Operations at
    RTV UK
    V He hosted the wildly popular ¶Anil Ki
    Awaaz· , the largest syndicated South
    Asian radio show in the US. The program
    aired in New York, Washington DC,
    California, Chicago etc.

    V After achieving tremendous success in the


    US, he returned to India to help launch
    MEOW, as well as host one of the
    programs
    V He joined 104.8 FM, known as ¶MEOW· at
    the time, in late 2006

    V He joined in the capacity of COO (Chief


    Operations Officer), and helped kick-
    start the company

    V He also joined as an RJ to host the


    program ¶Between the Sheets·
    V Aired on MEOW 104.8 FM on
    Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10 p.m.
    to 1 a.m.

    V The show lasted for two years, from 2007-


    2009, after which the channel changed
    to Oye! 104.8 FM, and was redesigned

    away from, especially on radio

    particularly the orthodox and the older
    generations, considered it vulgar and

    V Regardless of the opinion however, the


    show became extremely famous

    their radio venture, with Anil Srivatsa as

    V The radio channel focused only on women
    audiences, though there are an equal
    number of males who tuned to the radio
    station.

    V It provided women with a platform to


    interact and open up.

    V It engaged the listeners by discussing


    interesting topics.
    V It was more a place where the women
    came to share their opinions on vital
    issues rather than only listening to music.

    V However, despite it·s initial success, the


    radio channel could not keep up a long
    term listener base, and after a couple of
    years redesigned itself as OYE! 104.8 FM
    in 2009
    V It was at the same time that Anil Srivatsa
    resigned as COO of the channel, while
    his show ¶Between the Sheets· was
    cancelled
    V MEOW 104.8 FM was redesigned and
    renamed as OYE! 104.8 FM in 2009

    V It is an existing channel, and is the


    current TV Today radio venture under its
    FM radio arm Radio Today

    V It lost its engagement women-oriented


    format
    V OYE! 104.8 FM aims itself at all audiences
    and focuses on the Bollywood quotient.

    V It offers listeners a mix of Bollywood, RJ


    talk and humour.

    V As part of the rebranding several new


    shows such as Nikal Padi, Time Machine,
    -ove Stories were launched.
    V The controversial show ¶Between the
    Sheets· was replaced by a show called
    OYE! -ove Stories, a romance show
    based around celebrity love stories .

    V Besides the new shows, the radio station


    broadcasts moments of Seedhi Baat, an
    interview-based show hosted by Prabhu
    Chawla on Aaj Tak, part of TV Today
    Network.
