Samr

The document discusses the SAMR model, a framework for teachers to integrate technology into their teaching. It consists of four levels - Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition - moving from simply substituting technology for traditional tools to transforming tasks. At the Substitution level, technology provides a direct tool substitute with no functional change. Augmentation means technology acts as a direct substitute with functional improvement. Modification allows for significant task redesign. Redefinition involves technology use that creates new tasks previously inconceivable. The goal of the SAMR model is to help teachers and students cultivate technology and academic skills to create new ideas.
