Possible Problems With Computer Networking

Possible problems with computer networking include hardware issues like faulty network cables, network interface cards, routers, or switches that can cause down connections. Slow network connections may result from excessive network collisions or a malfunctioning network card stuck in transmit mode. Bottlenecks between routers and junctions can also slow down a network. Communication problems can arise if an IP address is duplicated. Analyzing both theoretical frameworks and empirical findings helps identify and solve these potential hardware-based networking issues.

Introduction
 Many authors of today describe networking in terms of
communication between two or more computer
 Computer networking in our own terminology, is the process of
communication and computers.
Background
Late 1960s, Department’s Advance Research Project
Agency(ARPA) commissioned a project to linked computers
together
1967, the idea of ARPANET was formed and in 1969,
ARPANET linked four nodes computer together
In 1973 Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) in connecting
computers from different operating system was outlined and
TCP/IP was emerged as a result of TCP that was split into 2
protocols in 1977.
Intro Cont.
Research Question
 What are the possible hardware problems with
computer networking?
 How can these problems be solved?
Purpose
Describe possible problems with computer
networking as well as propose possible
solutions to those problems.
Methodology
Qualitative Vs
Quantitative Research
Secondary Vs Primary Data
Research Operation
Theoretical Framework
 Important of Computer Networking in our Society
 File sharing
 Sharing of multiplayer game
 Sharing of multimedia
 Enhance Entertainment

 Computer Network Connection

 Wired Vs Wireless
 Computer to Computer Vs Phone line

Networking Devices Cont.
Switches Vs Hub

Cables

Network Interface Card (NIC) Vs Wireless

Lan Interface Card
Empirical Findings
 Common problems with Networking Hardware with Solution.
• Down Connection
 A faulty network cable
 A network interface card (NIC) or Wireless LAN card
 A faulty Router or Switches
 Configuration changes in routers and/or network setting in various host.

Slow Network Connection

 Excessive network collision might slow down
 Jabbering network card could also cause network collision due to a stuck network card
in transmitting mode.
Bottlenecking
 computer networking problems is caused between a router of the network and various
junction that could slow-down
Communication Problem
 Communication problems occur when IP address has been duplicated.
Analysis
Research questions needed to be
answered
Analysis of both theoretical and empirical
findings
Conclusion
Mission accomplished! That is; the purpose of
the project is achieved.
