Cetane Improver
Cetane improver in Thermol-D leads to
- Lower ignition delay - Better vehicle response - Better cold start properties and lesser white smoke at startup - Lower emissions and engine noise. Dispersants and Detergents

prevents injector/plunger deposits and filter clogging increasing the equipment life, and decreased downtime. Lubricity Enhancers
Confined area between plunger and the barrel is prone to frequent wear causing reduction in injection pressure and hence, poor atomization. Thermol –D helps Diesel retain this lost lubricity (generally caused while producing ultra low ‘S’ diesel) ensuring smooth running of fuel pumps, injectors and other moving parts. Surfactants
If the viscosity is too high, the fuel droplets will be too large for proper mixing and poor combustion will result. Also, the droplets may strike the relatively cold cylinder wall and fail to burn. If the viscosity is too low, the fuel spray will not travel across the combustion chamber and the poor mixing will result in improper combustion. Poor combustion results in loss of power and excessive exhaust smoke. Thermol–D helps reduce the surface tension of Diesel droplet, thereby breaking it into two or three smaller droplets, thus resulting into better atomization-> better combustion. Combustion catalyzers

reduces the adhesive strength of hydrocarbon chains in Diesel, by weakening the bond between longer chains, leading to its easier burning.
