    A minimum of four Quality Gates will be mandated to perform for SAP implementation projects
     Within complex projects or projects with open risks that are critical, additional Q-Gates may be executed

     Within agile projects G-Gate reviews for each release / sprint may be sufficient

    Preview at begin of Preparation Phase recommended


     Quality Gates carried out at an early time can influence the phase and project results positive

     Coach and advise PM on upcoming project phase (PM standards, deliverables, customer duties, etc.)

    Review
     Check that necessary standards and project approach have been established.

    Review of Phase can be combined with Preview of upcoming Phase


    No additional effort expected – time split between Preview and Review

     Q-Gate Preparation
    (e.g. Handover Sales/Bid, Project professional planned & prepared/scope - deliverables contractual proofed and defined, project approach
    defined / Project Management Plan …)

     Q-Gate Explore*
    (e.g. project on track according initial planning /scope design completed/ …)

     Q-Gate Realization*
    (e.g. all configuration and developments are completed/ test planned, performed and signed off/ cut over planning initiated…)

     Q-Gate Deploy
    (e.g. business, data and system readiness, checked and released…)

    Note*

    A minimum of four Quality Gates will be mandated to perform for SAP implementation projects

    • within agile projects Q-Gate reviews after each release (sprint) may be sufficient to run and will be assigned by
