Conditional Sentences

The document discusses different types of conditional sentences in English: zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, and third conditional. It provides examples of how each type is formed grammatically and the situations in which each type is used. The zero conditional uses the present simple tense and describes situations that are always true. The first conditional uses the present simple and will+infinitive to talk about possible future events. The second conditional uses the past simple and would/could/might + infinitive to talk about imagined or unlikely future events. The third conditional uses the past perfect and would/could/might + perfect infinitive to talk about unreal past situations. The document also discusses using "unless" as an alternative to "if not
