Anastrophe Powerpoint

Anastrophe is an inversion of the natural word order in a sentence to provide special emphasis. It moves words like adjectives, verbs, or objects to unexpected places for effect. Examples include rearranging phrases like "his worn and blistered feet" or placing the verb before the subject as in "Glistens the dew upon the morning grass." Famous works like Pulp Fiction and Slaughterhouse Five also use anastrophe through backwards sequencing of events.
