NR8000 MW Operation Guide for

Digicel MAKO Project in TnT


Laptop connect to IDU’s LMT port using LAN cable

Step 1:Setting IP address as 192.168.1.15 in you laptop

Step 2:Open the IE browser (Chrome is recommended), input


the IP: 192.168.1.1, and press Enter, as shown in the figure
below.

Step 3:
User Name : admin Password : admin or User123#
Click LOGIN

Introduce : NR8250 IDU

Step 4 (Only for NR8250 IDU): Setting Shelf (Path: Basic Config -> Shelf)
Step 5: Click : Basic Config -> System, the page of NE information will display
Step 6: Setting Site ID, NE Name, Device IP Address follow Design information
Step 7: Click : Basic Config -> RadioChannel, the page of Channel will display
Step 8: Setting Tx Frequency, Rx Frequency, Tx Power, Channel Name, Bandwidth, Modulation follow
Design information

Antenna alignment can start after this step setting on both sites of
one link ; RSL must achieve Design Value.
Step 9 (Only for 2+0 XPIC Link): Setting PLA (Path: Basic Config -> RadioChannel -> PLA)

Attention: All the interfaces have been defined in MPLS Script, include Eth Ports, Gbe Ports, RMUF
interfaces, PLA interfaces . So Please confirm which PLA No. used for which Link from LLD before setting.
Step 10 (Only for 2+0 XPIC Link): Setting XPIC (Path: Basic Config -> RadioChannel -> XPIC)

2+0 XPIC Setting Finished (only step 8 & step 9)!!


Step 11: Click : Basic Config -> Port, the page of Port will display
Step 12: Enable the ports that are requested by design
Introduce : Two scripts will prepare for every IDU, <Site ID>_IDU1.cli script for MPLS setting and <Site ID>_IDU1_MOS.cli
scipt for QoS setting.
Step 13:MPLS Setting : Open cmd.exe, enter below red character and Paste MPLS Script
