INTRODUCTION
• Organic Rankine Cycle focuses on low
temprature waste heat recovery
• ORC uses organic,high molecular mass fluid
with a liquid-vapor phase change occuring at low
temp
• ORC allows low temp sources like biomass
combustion, industrial waste heat ,solar ponds ,
geothermal energy
• ORC resembles steam cycle and here water is
replaced with organic fluid.
