PRINTING METHODS USED
There are 3 commonly used methods of printing from a SAP system.

1. SAP Scripts
2. Smart Forms™
3. Adobe® Interactive Forms
SAP SCRIPTS
Design the Label in ZEBRA Designer software.

Export the ITF file from Zebra designer once the designing of the label has been completed.

Import the ITF file in to SAP Script window and design a driver program for SAP Script to
execute the label in Zebra printer.
SMARTFORMS
Design the Label in ZEBRA Designer software.

Export the ITF file from Zebra designer once the designing of the label has been completed.

Import the ITF file in to Smartform text element and design a driver program for Smartform to
execute the label in Zebra printer.
ADOBE FORMS
Design the Label in Adobe forms in SAP using Tcode SFP. It does not require ZEBRA Designer
software to design the labels.

Printer Should be configured in SAP with Device type AZPL300 or AZPL203 to print Adobe
forms in Zebra Printer.
ADVANTAGES OF ADOBE FORMS
No need to design in Zebra software. Hence ZPL Code is not required

Easy to Design and Maintenance of Adobe form is less compared to traditional SAP Script
which used ZPL Code.
