COMMUNICATION ?

 Communication is a vital part of our daily routines.


 Communication is sending and receiving
information and involves at least two people
 The person sending the message is referred to as
the sender, while the person receiving the

1. VERBAL MASSAGES
• Sharing of information by
using speech
• Uses spoken words to
communicate a message
• Verbal communication has
many purposes, but its main
function is relaying a
message to one or more
recipients.
2. PARAVERBAL MESSAGES
• Refers to the messages that we transmit
through the pitch, and pacing of our voice
eg:
“I didn’t SAY you were stupid. “
“I didn’t say YOU were stupid.”
“I didn’t say you were STUPID.”
3. NON-VERBAL MESSAGES
• Are the primary way that we communicate
emotion
• Includes body language, gestures, facial
expressions, and even posture.
• Can tell your mood and can help others
interpret emotions

Irrespective of whether the occasion is formal or
informal, always aim to give a clear, well-structured
delivery.
Organizing the presentation material may include:
