Calibration of MCII

1) The document provides steps for calibrating the MC-II flow analyzer meter. 2) It involves obtaining the meter's calibration factor, calculating the divisor and rate multiplier, setting jumpers, and entering the divisor by pressing buttons on the analyzer's interface. 3) Correctly entering the divisor of 2328 is key to calibrating the MC-II to measure volumes in barrels based on the specific meter's calibration factor.

MC-II

Entering the Calibration

Step #1
Obtain The Meter Calibration
Factor
• Locations Of the Calibration Factor:
• Tag on Meter Collar
• End Of The Shipping Box
• Call The Factory With The Meter Serial Number.

Note: We only have

the original calibration
factor of the meter. If
the kit has been
changed, This number
will not be valid.
Step #2
Calculate The Divisor &
Rate Multiplier
Meter Size: 2”
Calibration Factor: 55.43
Volume Units: Barrels
Rate Units: BPD
Divisor: 2328
Rate Multiplier: ONC

Divisor:
55.43 P/Gal X 42 Gal/Bbl = 2328.06 P/Bbl

Rate Multiplier:
Since This Is a ‘Per Day’ Rate, We Will Use ONC.
Step #3
Set The Jumpers
• To Open The MC-II, Loosen
the Eight Screws Around
the Back of the Housing.
• These Are Captive Screws
and Will Not Come All the
Way Out.
• When They Are All Loose,
the Face Plate Will Fall
Open.
• Plastic Straps Attach the
Face Plate to the Housing So
It Does Not Fall off.
• The Jumpers Are Located
on the Bottom of the
Circuit Card.
Step #3
Set The Jumpers
