QUEEN ANNE

This is a Queen Anne Style. The style was influenced by Queen Anne England in the
period from 1725-1760.. It has a delicate and refined look. Has ball and claw cabriole
leg with shell motif.

Chippendale Furniture

• This is a Chippendale
furniture style. His
styles has a
combination of
several lesser styles,
including French and
Rocco. It has classic

Federal Style
• This style is marked by
elegant simplicity and
clear geometric shapes.

Contemporary/ Modern
• In general, contemporary furniture
uses modern materials like glass,
metal, chrome and composites. The
shapes tend to be very angular, with
a lot of right angle corners, distinct
edges, and overall lines that may be
asymmetrical or otherwise not quite
square. There is usually very little in
the way of carving, decoration, or
other intricate details. Surfaces are
typically very smooth in texture and
flow in an even line from one end of
the piece to the other.

Shaker

• Shaker furniture is widely admired for


its simplicity, innovative joinery,
quality, and functionality
